Roll ’em up! On a denim cuff spectrum of subtle to extreme, Kendall Jenner leaned toward the latter on Monday, August 22, in L.A.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 20, rocked a pair of high-waisted, straight-leg Levi’s Wedgie Jean with frayed seams rolled up at least six inches. She paired the cuffed style with a white “Los Angeles” tee, The Row’s Alligator Ambra Ankle Boots ($7,500, barneys.com), her Ullu alligator phone case and a pair of rose-colored shades.
To complete her laid-back, off-duty model ensemble, Jenner, who is dating rapper A$AP Rocky, swept her hair up into a high topknot and went fresh-faced with minimal makeup.
The Estée Lauder brand ambassador rocked the larger-than-usual cuffs after another quirky outfit, which happened to have been inspired by In-N-Out uniforms. “[My vintage Honda hat from July 23] was admittedly a fashion risk!” wrote Jenner in an August 19 post on her site. “It kind of reminds me of my favorite burger joint in Cali. … Can you tell I really don’t think anyone should take what they wear too seriously?”
One concept the Vogue cover girl does take seriously? Age. “A couple months ago, I found a gray hair on my head. Even though I was jokingly being dramatic about getting one (they can be from stress!), it honestly does kind of freak me out,” she wrote on her site this week. “When I turned 20, I was scared, as crazy as that sounds. I just didn’t feel ready to be out of my teens yet — I didn’t want to be in my twenties. I feel like your twenties are when you actually have to grow up and be an adult, which is scary!”
But Jenner finds ways to stay young at heart. “I’ve always tried to keep any bit of my ‘kid life’ that I can,” she wrote. “It’s so important for me to be silly and goof off because I think that’s what keeps people feeling young — whether they’re 20 or 60.”
