Keri Russell suited up in a steaming-hot leather one-piece to take the stage as a presenter at the Glamour 2014 Women of the Year Awards in New York City on Monday, Nov. 10.
The Americans star, 38—who’s rumored to be dating her costar, Matthew Rhys—stepped up to the podium in a skintight J. Mendel jumpsuit with a red-and-gold-striped bodice. Russell completed her ensemble by adding small bejeweled Jacob & Co. earrings and pointed-toe heels.
The Felicity alum was on hand to award marine biologist Sylvia Earle with the magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award in the form of a swirling scarlet statuette.
Though Russell looked extra sexy at the ceremony, the self-proclaimed T-shirt-and-jeans gal says she doesn’t get to be nearly as glam at home. “The truth is, I’m the mom of two kids (River, 7 and Willa, 2). I wear the same thing. I have the same thing for a month straight, and then I switch out,” the actress told InStyle earlier this year. “There’s no time. I don’t have time!”
Her daughter, Willa, however, does not take after her mom—she’s definitely a fashionista. “[Willa] does care what she wears in the morning,” Russell said. “I can still override her in her 2-ness, but she does have an opinion. She likes all clothes!”
The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes actress added, “When I have a stylist over, [Willa] wants to try everything on. She wraps [the clothes] around her head and neck,” Russell laughed. ‘It’s very sweet.”
As for what she’s saving for her budding style star: “A few McQueen dresses that I’ve worn to very special things, I would save [those] for her.”
