Khloe Kardashian Goes Back to Brunette After Just Nine Days

Khloe Kardashian's latest hair color had her seeing, well, red -- which explains why the 26-year-old reality star went back to her natural brunette shade early Saturday morning.

"I had to dye my hair back to brown. I love being a brunette, don't get me wrong, but red was so much fun! I was only red for a like a week," she tweeted Saturday. "The red was too short-lived! I'll be a redhead again, but today I'm being a brat because I want my red hair back now."
Given that Kardashian debuted her strawberry blonde 'do just nine days ago at the People's Choice Awards, what made her decide to go back to her roots so soon?

"Khloe starts filming her show with Lamar [Odom] and E! wanted her to stay consistent all season," a source tells UsMagazine.com. "It was a test run. She loved it."
Not that fans of the reality star should be too surprised by the quick hair turnaround: Kardashian recently admitted she was having trouble adjusting to her new look.

"I still get taken aback every time I see pics of myself with my new red hair," the reality star wrote on her blog on January 9. "I literally didn't recognize myself."

Much better as a brunette. That color red was not a good look for her. But she looks beautiful with it back to brown. Can't wait for her show to start with Lamar!! LOVE her!

@ Sandi..that way when they do their sit down interviews for the show, and the show itself, they don't have to show it in order. Most shows will show an incident that happened one week, then another incident that happened 3 months later and then go back to the first week. This way you cant tell when things happened, they just edit it to look like what theyre showing happened in the order theyre showing it.

Why would E! insist she go back to her brunette? I mean, switch it up sometimes, dont be so predictable as shows such as Bachelor. I get it that its a different concept, but let the girl be herself. Thats all Im saying...

I like the brown color in this photo. It suits her better in my opinion. I was just wondering though, wouldnt it have been easier to just get a wig and try it out? Seems like that wouldve been cheaper and much less damage to her hair...
