Temperatures continue to soar during L.A.’s heat wave (dials reached over 120 degrees on Tuesday, June 21). But the Kardashian-Jenner family has had a mixed response to the weather, style-wise.
Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian posed for an impromptu backyard photo shoot in the blazing heat, and Kourtney posted the results on Instagram on Wednesday, June 22. “Sunbathing with bae,” the mom of three, 37, captioned the first shot of the pair taking in the sun, followed by a simple purple heart emoji, which matched her outfit.
In the back-to-back shots, Kardashian wore an itty-bitty velvet bralette with matching wide-legged, high-waisted flares. both by Sergio Hudson. The lack of fabric up top and looser fit of her pants seemingly allowed for more air flow and a comfortable (as possible) heat wave experience.
Jenner, 18, went the opposite direction, choosing to cover up in head-to-toe white. The Lip Kit founder paired a long-sleeved turtleneck top with white skinny jeans and pointed nude heels.
From their outfit decisions, it appears as though Kourtney is following in her sister Kim Kardashian‘s footsteps from the day before, opting for less fabric in the heat. Comparatively, Jenner’s outfit reminds Us of her older half sister Khloé Kardashian‘s layered look, also from the previous day, which even featured over-the-knee boots and a duster sweater.
