Bell is back! Kristen Bell made her first red carpet appearance since welcoming daughter Delta last month at the 41st Annual People’s Choice Awards in L.A. on Wednesday, Jan. 7. Making it a date night, she was joined by her husband Dax Shepard on the red carpet.
The Veronica Mars alum, 34, looked slim (oh my!) in a hot pink knee-length Monique Lhuillier frock. She donned silver heels and wore her tousled blonde locks down.
“I believe it’s our first [red carpet],” Bell told E! News‘ Giuliana Rancic at the event. “I’m in a sleepy, sleepy daze so I’m not positive where I am right now.”
Bell and the Parenthood actor, 40, welcomed Delta on Dec. 19, joining big sister Lincoln, 21 months. “It’s the same amount of work because it’s another baby,” Bell said of the new addition. “And you now what to expect.”
Shepard added: “It’s in theory it gets easier because you go through the rough time at once and then it’s on autopilot. That’s what we’ve been told and we’re counting on it.”
As for why they chose the name Delta? “Dax keeps picking these awesome names,” Bell said. “I so badly wanted to pick, but he threw Delta out there and we just knew it was right.”
