Lady Gaga: Why I'll Never Get Plastic Surgery
Perhaps Lady Gaga wants people to read her "Poker Face" after all.
In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 25-year-old "Born This Way" singer says she'll never succumb to the pressure to get cosmetic surgery.

"I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have," Gaga tells the mag's May issue (on stands April 26). "I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."
"And how many models and actresses do you see on magazine covers who have brand-new faces and have had plastic surgery, while I myself have never had any plastic surgery?" the singer continued. "I am an artist, and I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me."

Still, Gaga (real name: Stefani Germanotta) isn't totally immune to the allure of Hollywood. After winning multiple Grammys, wrestling with Madonna on Saturday Night Live and appearing on countless magazine covers, the New York native relocated to L.A. to become part of Hollywood's "It" scene.

"I had all these No. 1 records, and I had sold all these albums, and it was sort of this turning point: Am I going to try and embrace Hollywood and assimilate to that culture?" she recalls.
Needless to say, things didn't work out. "I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately," Gaga says. "I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars."

Amen, Danny. This smacks of self-importance. Oh, I'm too good for L.A. crap. (I can't believe I'm defending L.A.) But she's a singer not an actress and it really doesn't matter where she bases herself after this level of fame. But keep thinking you are oh, so trendy, to turn YOUR back on LA, Gaga. You are a copier of all that came before you and that is all...fashion-based that is. I actually do like some of her music but find her to be arrogant as all getout. I bet we're supposed to find her vaginal remark to be cutting edge and shocking, too. She couldn't have come up with a different analogy or anything. Needs to be sexual and Madonna-esque of course.

If anyone ever needed cosmetic surgery, it's her. Even after the nose job she still has a real horse face.
"I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me." Isn't that the same excuse people give for why they DID have plastic surgery? She just rambles and rambles until she cuts her own point off at the knees.

Yea, she says this now because she's only 25, but wait until she's 50, I'm sure she'll change her tune by then.
A tremendous sense of self importance is over flowing this one. She is very talented, but all so arrogant. She does have to goods to back it up, but her ego is a turn off for me. Leggo your ego!
Shes definitely had a nose job. Why do all of these celebrities keep lying about altering their apperance when probably 90% of Hollywood has done it! Its so easy to prove the lies wrong when pictures are all over the internet. Its their bodies, who cares if they alter them? But please, STOP LYING CONSTANTLY ABOUT IT!!

I mean come on people. I'd say 90% of celebrities have had SOMETHING altered..why lie about it this day in age when its so easy to prove it wrong with the internet! Who cares..its your body, you can do as you please. But stop lying about it!!!
