Talk about made in the shade!

Madonna has inked a deal with Italian fashion label Dolce & Gabbana to codesign six pairs of sunglasses to be released this May.

Bearing the logo MDG, the singer's collection will include retro black plastic shades and gold-and-silver metal frames. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana sketched and shipped designs for more than 50 styles of frames to Madonna for review.

"We're so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us," Gabbana enthused to Women's Wear Daily of the brand's partnership. "[Madonna] is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception."

Sunglasses are just the latest product of the trio's partnership. Madonna, a longtime friend of the designers, is featured in their spring ad campaign, clad in lace, corsets and other items from their seasonal collection.

What crazy outfit put Madonna on last year's worst-dressed list?

On March 10, Madonna and her manager, Guy Oseary, announced plans to form a joint venture with Iconix Brand Group, which includes Candie's and Roca Wear. Under the MG Icon partnership, Madonna will lend her name and likeness to the "Material Girl" junior's line and Macy's this fall.

Wouldn't wear them if they were free. Junior line????? Like I'd let my young daughter wear anything Madge designed.

Just a little more make-up and she could pass for the Joker. She looks ridiculous with those cheek implants. And if she gets any more plastic surgery on her face, her ears will meet her eyebrows.

Madonna looks gorgeous. You guys really need to stop believing all the fake stories you hear/read on tv/online. I've seen Madonna in NYC a couple times recently and she really looks youthful and pretty. A lot of the papparzi pics you see online are photoshopped to make her look unflattering because she doesn't pay the papparzi like some other celebs do. Its all about money in showbiz....

I have to agree. Her plastic surgery used to be subtle and difficult to spot but now it is very obvious. Stars really look better without plastic surgery.

Gosh her face looks terrible. Her cheek implants are not flattering at all!!!
