Head-to-toe hot pink!
Melissa McCarthy made a statement in a magenta jumpsuit while attending CinemaCon 2016 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 12.
The Boss star, 45, who was in Sin City promoting the all-female Ghostbusters remake, turned heads in her bold pink outfit, which she accessorized with a gold chain belt, gold bracelets and nude pointed pumps.
It was a no-brainer for McCarthy to fill the boots of the cult classic. “This movie, the original, loomed really large for me,” the Melissa McCarthy Seven7 designer told the audience at the event. “I love an underdog movie. I love when unlikely people become the heroes. When I had a shot to do it with these three amazing women [Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Kristen Wiig], I had to do it.”
Another jumpsuit that excited fans of the film and the actresses themselves? Their utility onsies. “I already felt badass being asked to be a Ghostbuster. Putting on the suit just solidified it,” Jones said of first trying on the iconic costume. “It made it real.”
