Happy Holidays! 6 Ugly Christmas Sweaters That Are Actually Kind of Cute

It’s time to give your holiday sequins and dresses a break: National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is here.

On Dec. 12, chunky knits and itchy cotton blends adorned with merriment and supremely cheesy embellishments take over the styles of otherwise chic trendsetters.

And why not? The wacky tops are sure to bring a smile to yourself and those around you. Plus, looking like a fool can actually do some good. This year, sweater participants are encouraged to donate $5 to Save the Children, which helps children living in poverty in the United States. “The more money raised, the more children you and Save the Children can help this holiday season and throughout the new year,” Carolyn Miles, the org’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
