Nicki Minaj has conquered the beauty realm with a lipstick and a nail polish collection, and now it appears she's moving full-speed into what else? Fashion.
In Sunday's The New York Times, the R&B artist's manager Cortez Bryant revealed some of the latest plans to help his client stay on everyone's radar, the next step being what comes natural to the star -- style.
"A priority of his, Mr. Bryant said in a phone interview, is to negotiate a deal with a fashion house so Ms. Minaj can sell her own line of clothes," The New York Times wrote.
In 2010, Minaj, 29, and MAC Cosmetics released a limited-edition baby pink lipstick shade in conjunction with her debut album, Pink Friday. And later this month, the star's six shade nail lacquer collection with OPI will hit shelves and anxiously awaiting fingernails.
But if the "Super Bass" singer does end up landing a fashion deal and creating her own line, will it be wearable enough for the everyday gal to rock?
Turns out, there is a chance. In November 2011, the outrageously dressed star revealed to Cosmopolitan that behind the technicolor getups, there's some very laid-back wardrobe choices.
"Give me my sweats!" she exclaimed to the mag, when explaining what goes into dressing up. "I like transforming from completely raggedy to 'Ahhh, I'm ready.' That transformation gives me a high."
