She's proven herself in the fashion industry with her successful House of Harlow 1960 accessories collection and Winter Kate clothing line, and now Nicole Richie is taking on the beauty world with her first-ever fragrance.
The mother-of-two, 30, just signed a deal with TPR to launch her signature scent next September in department and specialty stores.
"[Nicole] has a wide breadth of creative talents being an author, a jewelry designer, a fashion designer and an aspirational figure," Brian Robinson, president of TPR told WWD. "She also has 3 million Twitter followers but more importantly she has trade credibility. She’s done a great job with her image."

Robinson and Richie first discussed a perfume partnership a year ago, but the timing wasn't right until now, he said. He added that fans can expect a "cool, classy scent with an edge."
