Please don’t stop the music!

Spread holiday cheer at any party this season with the help of an expert-curated playlist. "Music plays an integral part in setting the energy and tone of a party," celeb party Jes Gordon tells UsMagazine.com.

Pace your music

Every party has a beginning, middle and end. Start off the evening with something mellow as guests mingle.

PS: I am not a Mariah hater - usually. She's fine the rest of the year. Just not at Christmas.

No! NO Mariah Carey Christmas "music." Calling that crap she does for Christmas "music" is being generous. I do not need to hear her screeching dopey songs to the top of her lungs. Trust me, I'm beginning to hate shopping at Christmas becuase I know I'll hear her so-called "music" in every store. Spare me just one year, please! If you want real music, try Amy Grant's "Home for Christmas" CD. Now that is Christmas music.
