Lookin' good Tom!

After rocking a shoulder-length, shaggy hairstyle for more than a year, Tom Cruise has finally lopped off his locks for a much-shorter style, which he debuted in NYC on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old actor had to ditch his man bangs for his upcoming film, One Shot, which is scheduled to start shooting in October in Pittsburgh, PA (the same city where Christian Bale's The Dark Knight Rises is currently filming.)

In the Christopher McQuarrie-directed crime thriller, Cruise will play Jack Reacher, an ex-Army cop. He's set to star alongside actor Richard Jenkins and actress Rosamund Pike in the flick adapted from the 2005 Lee Child thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

49 and a total fox. Can't wait to see Rock of Ages. Tom's no weirder than anyone else in Hollywood. P.S. He left Nicole and she would have taken him back in a heartbeat if he wanted. What-ever, everyone is happy now so don't spoil it for their families.

I agree with Marlene --- "doesn't do anything for him!" But then, I'm probably NOT the one to ask - he's gotten too wierd for me - can't STAND him anymore! The BEST that happened to Nicole Kidman was divorcing Tom Cruise - hasn't hurt her IN THE LEAST!!! He, however, is a completely DIFFERENT story! Yuk, Yuk, Yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
