Who's her fairy godmother? Pregnant Blake Lively — who can't go anywhere in Cannes without slaying — stepped out in yet another jaw-dropping gown on Friday, May 13. Her muse? One of Disney's most iconic characters.
The Café Society actress, 28, currently expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, had a major Cinderella moment at the premiere of Slack Bay in a statement-making powder blue Vivienne Westwood Couture creation.
The gown features intricate beading on the bodice, a natural waist and a voluminous, tiered skirt. Lively accessorized her princess-inspired ensemble with metallic heels, an Oscar de la Renta clutch, statement earrings and, fittingly, an embellished headband in her chignon updo.
Though the L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador's dress was inspired by a good-natured heroine, her makeup had more nefarious origins. "Who cares about princesses, it's all about villain inspiration tonight 💕💕" the brand shared of Lively's beauty vibes, which had an Ursula aura, via Instagram.
But the mother of James, 16 months, isn't the only star to wear a Cinderella-inspired style this month. Claire Danes looked flawless at the 2016 Met Gala when she donned a sky blue Zac Posen design that actually lit up from within via fiber optics.
"Celestial grandeur. Illuminating ballgown," Posen 'grammed of the light-up gown on May 2.
