Pregnant Kate Middleton Channels Spring in Fitted Floral Dress: See the Photos!

Kate Middleton leaves The Goring Hotel in Victoria, London on March 2.
Kate Middleton (in floral Erdem) is spotted leaving the Goring Hotel on March 2, in London.

It’s March, which means that spring is almost here—and that means florals for Kate Middleton!

The seven-months-pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, 33, stepped out on Monday, March 2, to celebrate the 105th anniversary of London’s luxe Goring Hotel, where she famously stayed the night before her royal wedding to Prince William in April 2011.

And what a different look from her iconic Alexander McQueen wedding dress! The royal slipped into a pink, purple, blue, and green confetti-print Erdem “Darla” dress, which highlighted her growing baby bump. She teamed the frock with an Alexander McQueen clutch and Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley pumps.

Four years after the royal wedding, Kate Middleton wore a colorful dress to visit the Goring Hotel in London on March 2.

During her two-hour private visit, the Duchess, who’s already a mom to 19-month-old Prince George, toured the hotel’s new suites, freshened during a monthlong renovation in January. (Fun fact: The renovation marked the first time the Goring had ever closed since opening in 1910; it even remained open during both World Wars.)

Of course, this wasn’t the first time Middleton returned to the last place she slept in as a single woman. She’s visited a number of times, most recently in December 2014 for a meeting of the 1851 Trust, the sailing charity of which she is a patron.

When the Duchess stayed at the Goring Hotel before her nuptials, she slept inside one of the historic building’s royal apartments on the fifth floor. The following morning, Middleton left the hotel through the front entrance, got into a car with her father, and the two headed to Westminster Abbey. The rest, as they say, is history.
