Pretty in purple! Pregnant Keira Knightley brought her A-game to the 2015 SAG Awards on Sunday, Jan. 25, walking the red carpet at L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium in a voluminous plum-colored lace gown by Erdem.

The Imitation Game actress, 29 — expecting her first child with husband James Righton, who accompanied her to the big event and posed for pics on the carpet — hid her baby bump under the frock’s forgiving front pleat, joking with E!’s Maria Menounos that her waist had “disappeared.” The dress also featured a deep-V neckline with purple-tinted sheer paneling.

Beauty-wise, Knightley wore her wavy brown locks half-pinned up to show off a sparkly ear cuff on her right side. Dramatic smoky eye makeup and a pinkish nude lip completed the look.
Asked about whether prepping for awards shows is more difficult now that she’s pregnant, the Supporting Actress nominee admitted it had changed her fashion options a bit.

“It just means you’re not going to wear anything tight,” she told Menounos. “Actually, people do wear tight things when they’re pregnant, don’t they? I don’t want to go for that. So it’s just on quite loose, which is quite nice.”
One red-carpet staple she wasn’t ready to sacrifice? High heels. “The shoes are quite high — they may come off later,” she shared. “I can go, ‘Well,l I’m pregnant so my shoes have to come off and no one’s allowed to say anything.'”
Later, acknowledging Menounos’ dress, a strapless gold number with a fitted top, she joked, “If I had that waist at the moment, I’d do the same thing. But the waist has disappeared so I can’t do that.”
