Repping the always classic combo of black and white, Witherspoon, 38, who's nominated for Best Actress for her role in Wild, rocked a flounce dress by Giambattista Valli, which she paired with matching T-strap heels.

Asked how she's prepping for the Oscars, Witherspoon replied, "By wrestling with Sofia Vergara! She's very tough—she's a strong girl." (The actresses are currently filming their upcoming comedy, Hot Pursuit, in New Orleans.)

Meanwhile, Two Days, One Night star Cotillard, 39, who's up for her second Best Actress Oscar, donned a funky blue Christian Dior Couture dress with metallic sleeves and a lime-hued, teardrop-shaped accent on the bodice. She teamed the look with a silver clutch and black pumps, both also by Dior.

Working her trademarked Girl Next Door style, Birdman nominee Stone, 26, looked casually lovely in a Michael Kors striped sweater and polka-dotted skirt. Christian Louboutin heels completed the ensemble.

Stone, who's currently starring in Cabaret on Broadway, told Us Weekly that she can't even wrap her head around prepping for the Oscars quite yet. "My head is so bizarre because I have two weeks left [on Broadway]. I’m playing Sally Bowles, and then I come and be here in a fancy dress," she said. "It's like her dream. I can't really think about facials yet!"

Last, but not least, Ferrera, 30, supported her film, How to Train Your Dragon 2, by slipping her slimmed-down frame into a body-skimming crimson dress by Pamella Roland. She finished the style with a red Ethan K clutch and sandals by Aldo.

Each lady looked stylish, but the question remains: Who do you think had the best red carpet look at the luncheon? Vote in the poll above!
