Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Mellie (Bellamy Young) continued their season three trend of wearing graphic patterns and bright colors, respectively, in the Scandal episode "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," which aired on March 20.

Pope wore a boxy black-and-white jacquard Lafayette 148 New York Carmina jacket with mandarin collar ($798) on the episode. While she's been wearing intricately patterned tops all season, this three-quarter sleeve number also featured an ombre effect at the bottom -- so moody!

Love the look but not the price tag? For a more budget-minded pick, try the United Colors of Benetton Jacket ($169.50, Benetton.com), with near-identical pattern and glossy black buttons.
