See Vanessa Hudgens' New Butterfly Tattoo

There's nothing Beastly about Vanessa Hudgens' new tattoo!

Taking a break from the chaos of New York Fashion Week, the 22-year-old actress decided to get inked on Wednesday at Bang Bang Tattoos. Hudgens was accompanied by her friend Ruby Rose, an Australian MTV VJ.

"Please don't blame me, but I may have convinced Vanessa Hudgens to get a tattoo," Rose, 24, tweeted. "Her first."

According to Just Jared Jr., the name Vanessa actually means "butterfly."

Fans of Hudgens shouldn't be too surprised by her new body art; the High School Musical alum showed off a henna tattoo during her New York visit.

"I was at Disney World and me, my mom and my sister all got it done at Epcot in Morocco," Hudgens explained to UsMagazine.com at the Yigal Azrouel Fall 2011 Fashion show on Wednesday.

Oh that is SO fake! If you have ever gotten a tattoo you know what I'm talking about. She not showing any signs of having just getting that (redness, bleeding, etc). She DEFINITELY didn't just get this one. If it is real, then she's had this for a while.

that definately looks like a real tattoo which she's old enough to have by law you have to be 18. at least it's in a tasteful place and a decent size. hopefully she doesn't get a blood disease from it like my uncle did from his tattoo of Yosimite Sam
