Get ready, North America: The British are coming!
Prince William and Duchess Kate boarded a private jet at London's Heathrow airport on Thursday. Their desination: Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada, where the newlywed royals will kick off their 11-day tour of North America.

An excited Kate, 29, showed off her super-slim physique in a dark navy Roland Mouret "Manon" dress and a SMYTHE One Button Blazer. She carried a Mulberry Polly Push Lock bag in Midnight.
It's the very first official overseas trip for the couple since their April 29 wedding --- and Kate's very first visit to North America. The duo will make stops in Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories, Calgary -- and, finally, California!

From July 8 through July 10, Kate and William, 29, will hobnob with politicians, celebs, socialites and more over gala dinners, a polo match, a glittery red carpet event and even a visit to L.A.'s inner city.

Diane: I think US just phrased it poorly (actually not at all, really, lol) but I think the July 8-10th part is only the California leg of it...
It's says an 11 day tour above, but it says they are gone from July 8 to July 10th. That's ONLY two days, NOT eleven! Unless this is the time they will be in CA.
