Nothing says everlasting love like a Martha Stewart Cupcake Tree!

When Tony Romo and Candice Crawford tied the knot in Dallas over the weekend, their 600 guests had a huge array of gifts to get them -- thanks to two exhaustive wedding gift registries at Crate and Barrel and Macy's.

As unearthed by Yahoo sports blog Shutdown Corner, the millionaire Dallas Cowboys quarterback and beauty queen turned TV reporter weren't shy about their matrimonial wish list.

Romo, 31, and Crawford, 24, registered for over 150 items at Crate and Barrel alone. Some of their asks? A silver, 3-Tier cupcake stand for $29.95, five french fry holders at $6.95 each, french fry holder liners ($1.50 each), a small ($2.95) and large ($6.95) gravy boat, and amber tealights at 50 cents a pop.

Over at Macy's, the Texas twosome asked for, among other things, a Dyson Ball DC25 Animal Vacuum ($650), a Haan Professional Garment Steamer ($215), Chef's Choice Waffle Maker that makes heart-shaped waffles (on sale for $69.99) -- and another cupcake stand, this one from the Martha Stewart Collection, for $19.99.

Yahoo's blogger Chris Chase calls the registries "ridiculous."

I think its ignorant for people to think just because they have money that they should have there guests give to charity, lmao.Even if everyone at the wedding gave the same amount of money they spent on there gifts,it wouldnt even be a fraction of what Tony Romo gives every year.Let people have there day without trying to impose your thoughts.I bet anything the people saying these rediculous things have never givin a dime.Mind your business, and let him have a damn $29.00 cupcake tree!!WOW.

I'm not a fan of the couple, but Yahoo's blogger Chris Chase is ridiculous for being so ignorant about wedding registries!

what to say...what to say here? lol I know! Whoever decided that a thoughtful list that included ALL income brackets in their wedding registry is "ridiculous" is ridiculous. Chris Chase should stop write less and think more. You know, be more thoughtful. Like the Romos. *and I don't even like the guy*

This list looks pretty normal to me. What are they supposed to have listed on there? Gifts people cannot afford? Who cares what they have on their list. It is not any one’s business anyway.

I don't get the problem here. I think it was a perfect registry for a couple who has a lot of money, this sure shows they are not snobs. Good for them!!

Well while these two are famous and virtually well off their families may not be rich so these gifts seem right on target for a large extended family who have various degrees of income. So with gifts at various ranges it would seem that there's something for everyone. Besides they both make their money based on physical attributes which could be compromised at any point, its only right that they set up house with supplied by their 600 guests.

@Shannon King: I gave to Haiti too, would you like to call me names for that too? Real Christians who read the Bible would have never believed the world was going to end, but I guess I just better go get that figurative "X-Ray" like you tell me too since I am such an idiot for giving to my Methodist church's "End Malaria" fund. You are so smart!!!!

    That is one ugly couple

Good lord people are IGNORANT. Just because you have money doesn't mean you can't fill out a gift registry. I suppose you all think it's tacky for celebrities to have baby showers too? Same concept.

What were they thinking! With their money, they should have asked guests to contribute to charities instead of gifts. This shows a tremendous lack of class and to think no one advised them of such.

When did these guys get married? I don't know, but I'm sure the registry was done and invites sent out a few weeks, if not a few months, before that tornado hit Joplin, so don't complain about them not asking guests to donate to any Joplin fund, or even the red cross...besides, these are organizations that need continual funding, not just a handful of change when tragedy hits. Aside from that, why would anyone ask for things they probably already have? Neither of them have a vacuum? And there are better ways to steam your clothes without buying a clunky "professional" steamer.

All of the women he's been with look alike. This one could be Carrie Underwood's sister.

WHAT THE F*@K IS A FRENCH FRY HOLDER?? IF I were Tony Romo I would be more concerned my svelte 24 year old wife is going to balloon into a whale asking for a french fry holder.

  • June 01, 2011 - 3:04pm Shannon King

@ Shannon Hopp...that's your problem. Donating to churches. Were you one of those bible thumpers that were running around claiming the world was gonna end?..GET AN XRAY

  • June 01, 2011 - 3:02pm Shannon King

I suppose to ask for a yacht, $2 mil estate, and real fur coats would be "normal"...these people need to get Xrays; that way, they can see how far their heads are up their butts!

You know, at least they had practical things on their wedding registry. My husband and I are a lot more well-off financially than a lot of our friends and family, and when we didn't have a registry for our wedding, a lot of them gave us gifts anyway. Everything from stationery sets to gift cards and cash. When you get married, some people WANT to give you store-bought gifts, not money, and others want to give you money, not store-bought gifts. It really is none of anyone's business what people do with their money and their weddings. The fact that they had reasonably priced items on their registries show that they're not gold-digging selfish people. Who they do or do not donate to is their business. Leave them alone.

  • June 01, 2011 - 1:44pm Shannon Hopp Wright

@Carri: I am not a multi-millionaire. I give plenty to my church and to other charities, thank you. It is very tacky for a multi-millionaire to ask for wedding gifts. I know the tornado hadn't happened yet, but other tornado devastation had in other states (around 500 dead total now). It would have been so beautiful to see this very rich couple cancel all that selfishness and let everyone know that they would like donations to either the guests favorite charity or the Red Cross or whatever. It takes a lot of maturity to give up opening up a bunch of wedding gifts and the fun of that for a better cause, but that's just me. I am allotted an opinion, even if it is different than yours.

  • June 01, 2011 - 1:43pm Daisy Quintana

This is ridiculous. If anything I think it shows that they are pretty down to earth and know that not everyone who attended would be able to afford such a lavish gift. Give them a break! We should focus on their beautiful union and not on their registry. Geez!

  • June 01, 2011 - 1:40pm Jes Gibson

My friends wedding registry is more outrageous then that...
