Fly girl! Victoria Beckham couldn’t just wear a pair of sweatpants as she departed the Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, July 31. The clothing designer, 42, turned the arrivals area into her own catwalk as she modeled her latest colorful look.
Beckham stunned in separates from her own eponymous clothing line, pairing a Victoria Beckham Women’s Multicolor V-neck Cami Blouse with a Sunray Pleated Skirt. Both items, made of black crepe de chine, were covered in a red, yellow and blue matchstick print. She kept her accessories neutral, choosing a black leather Half Moon Leather Shoulder Bag and D-Frame Acetate Sunglasses, which are both from her collection as well.
Over the past few years, the mom of Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, 5, with husband David Beckham, undeniably had a signature look: long, sleek locks and all-black outfits. But the former Spice Girl has switched up her style this entire year. On June 22, she teamed a cherry-red crew-neck sweater with slim baby-blue pants. The next day, she glowed in a canary yellow ensemble of a duster coat and matching midi dress. And on June 6, the fashionista debuted a tousled lob, courtesy of hairstylist Luke Hersheson. “#chopchop,” she captioned an Instagram of the process.
But Beckham, who’s set to release a limited-edition makeup line with Estée Lauder in September, has also proved that old habits die hard. She told The Telegraph that she “just can’t do heels anymore” in February 2016, and proceeded to take a bow on the runway in a pair of Stan Smiths after presenting her New York Fashion Week collection that month. Despite her solemn vow, Beckham has stepped out in stilettos on more than one occasion. She even performed an acrobatic stretch in a sky-high pair of pumps along with BFF Eva Longoria in a May Instagram.
