It seems that being pregnant with her first girl is a major source of fashion inspiration for Victoria Beckham.
The designer, whose wardrobe consists of dark, structured frocks, describes her new line of dresses for Victoria by Victoria Beckham as "the most girly collection I’ve ever created," Women's Wear Daily reported on Thursday.
The retro and whimsical dresses will retail for $550 to $900, which makes them more affordable than the 37-year-old's other established line, Victoria Beckham.
"I'm opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured," she told WWD. "It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great."
Whether or not her new design inspiration has anything to do with her pregnancy, the designer, who has three sons (ages 11, 8, and 5) with her husband David Beckham, is excited about having a girl. (She's due in mid-July).
"We have so much testosterone in our house, it is crazy," she told Jimmy Fallon on his February 15th Late Night show.
