W Mag Replies to Kim Kardashian's Tears Over "Porn"-y Nude Pics

On Sunday's episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kim, 30, burst into tears over her naked pictorial spread in W Magazine -- claiming she was misled, she moaned that the pics were "full-on porn."

But W mag sees it differently. On Tuesday, a rep for the fashion bible told fashion blog The Cut:
"In keeping in line with the theme of W Magazine's November Art Issue, Kim Kardashian's cover was conceived as an artistic collaboration with well-known artist Barbara Kruger, and was a meditation on the influence that reality TV has on contemporary culture."

Praising the E! star's cultural influence, the W rep continued: "The inside portfolio documented the career and power of Kim Kardashian as a work of art, using the language of artists like Jeff Koons ... and Gilbert & George."

Kim's complaint about the photos: "The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen." Threatened the star: "I'm never taking my clothes off again, even if it's for Vogue."

Anytime you pose with your close off, and you're supposedly a celebrity, be prepared for them to show up ANYWHERE! Get over yourself and deal with the choices you make in life!

i think her reaction was a bit overboard,u take ur clothes off then get angry that they showed u naked? how does that make sense? thats just like the whole ray j situation, u willingly make a sex tape then get furious when it gets out, how about u have a little more caution with the action u take as a woman let alone your career. i think kim is a sweetheart but not very bright
So because her boyfriend at the time sold the sex tape they made she is ho. But I guess Ray J is ok. Stop hating. If you don't care about her stop commenting on websites, watching her shows, and reading magazines with her on it. You all make her relevant. She capitalized on bad situation.

She should be happy a magazine like W. would even find her relavant! She became famous for a sex tape and playboy, I think most everyone has seen her with less clothes on than in this magazine, she should stop complaining and be happy for the un-derserved fame she has!
it really is very very sad...pitiful actually...not so bright and all they have to depend on is their (her) looks...these pics came out a long time ago and were posted all over the internet...the word over exposed has a deeper more intense meaning now and i'm not talking about the nudity...sad, really really sad...

I'd like to know who really thinks she has a "HOT" body? No way. I like her, but her body is completely out of proportion. Secondly, why is "W" apologizing for not keeping their word?
