One of the hottest makeup trends in Hollywood right now is vibrant lip colors like hot pink, electric red and bright coral. So when Rose Byrne, 31, hit the screening of the season four premiere of Damages in NYC on Wednesday night sporting a dark plum lipstick (a shade typically reserved for the fall and winter), it threw us off. Was it unexpected in a good way? Or did the rich, intense hue look too heavy for a warm summer evening?

Perhaps she chose the color because it complemented her nude lace Valentino dress, which featured purple floral appliques. Regardless, the Bridesmaids' actress is undeniably stunning no matter what makeup she’s wearing and we love her glossy brunette waves and long eyebrow-skimming bangs.
