The former TODAY show co-anchor also wasn't afraid to wear some bright colors. The 55-year-old journalist preferred retro-inspired dresses and sky-high heels -- which occasionally included animal prints. Her fashion style changed after her mother passed away. "She told me I was wearing too much black and dressed too much like a man. And after she died, I went out to buy some clothes and found myself buying a pink suit!" Curry told More magazine in 2006. "Soon after came a yellow suit. Then some red shoes. I dress more now the way my mother would want me to dress than I ever did when she was alive."
