LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen, Vogue
This image of world-famous supermodel Bundchen and NBA superstar James was one of Vogue's most controversial covers of all time. The revered basketball player was the first black man ever to cover American Vogue on its April 2008 "Shape" issue, yet critics found the image of James and Budnchen racially insensitive. Vogue's cover was even compared to the original promo poster of King Kong.
