Bachelor Fans Shocked Ali Left the Show

Tuesday – February 09, 2010 – 8:59am

Bachelor fans are sad to see Ali Fedotowsky go.

The 25-year-old advertising accounts manager -- who was one of Bachelor Jake Pavelka's final four -- abruptly left Monday's show after her employer gave her an ultimatum: quit the show or lose her job. Even though he said he was "heartbroken" to see her leave, Pavelka, 32, told her he couldn't "guarantee" he would give her the final rose, so she packed up. (The finale airs Monday, March 1 on ABC. He will choose between the three remaining contestants: Vienna Girardi, Tenley Molzahn and Gia Allemand.)

Are these reality stars cursed?

Within minutes of her decision, at least 400 fans posted messages on her Facebook page (she has almost 3,600 followers to date).

"If you can, you need to return," one fan pleaded. "It has always been you from the first date, yes, from [the] first date. You and Jake have always looked natural together; the others all look contrived...."

Added another, "I so hope that tonight is not the end of your fairy tale romance with Jake. You make a beautiful couple and I've loved the two of you together since day one. Hopefully we'll see you and Jake together at the end of this journey . . . you two are just so in love and we can see the depth of your love for each other. Hoping for a miracle!"

A third fan said it was a "bummer" that she had to choose between love or work. But the commenter added, "You are a winner." Another put it this way: "You were the reason I watched the show - you make GREAT TV, but now the show is over for me. I looked up to Jake in the beginning because he is a pilot but at this point don't much care for him."

Some fans felt she made the wrong decision.

"Are you freaking crazy?" one asked. "There will always be more jobs, but a good man is so hard to find. If he chose you in the end, would you have left that job to move to Dallas to be his wife?"

But in the end, most felt she is better off without Pavelka.

"This guy Jake seems like a D-bag!" one fan wrote. "Pretentious too....I'm sure you are much better off." Said another, "Personally I think that you are too genuine, authentic, smart, and absolutely beautiful (inside and out)" for Pavelka, another fan wrote. "If I was 20 years younger I would be proposing right now! LOL :)"

Still, some are holding out hope. "If it's meant to be ... it will be!" one commenter wrote. "Keeping my fingers crossed."

Jake and Vienna really compliment each otherâ??s personality. Vienna brings out the fun part of Jake (He is a bit serious.) Jake will help Vienna mature into a great wife and mother since she is head-over-heals in love with Jake. She appears to be greatly appreciative of himâ?¦and how he brings her into a mature, loving relationship she has never had. Best to the two of themâ?¦and, yes, in my professional opinion, this marriage will last and be a happy one! - Bertina Vara

It's better to choose a fun loving swamp rat than a disheveled mean alley cat. Ali is just a mean spirited control freak! When she does not gather up a gang one way then she will try it a different way. Get rid of Ali totally off the networks!

What is this a Harem Playing a room key card to the girls. Shows the whole world what kind of "MAN" the Bachelor show picks for the show. What a disgrace and the show should be ashamed of themselves and there are tons of us out there that feel the same way. Don't worry I am not the only one who is going to stop watching this Harem showroom. Women are worth more than what your boys regard them as.

Also I must add that Ali was the mean streak in the house. Gia told Jake that she thinks both girls (vienna and Tenley) are great. Do not believe evrything TV shows. Vienna was postrayed as a bad girl but based on how Jake had her back I could tell she was not as bad as the show made her out to be. She is inner beauty. I am also brutally honest so I am feeling her.

Ali is a control freak. She clearly did not have control over the situation and she could NOT handle it. Jake has so-called fallen for these women right? Well, if that's the case, he is looking to make up his mind based on which of the girls, likes him the most. So far, Vienna has given him ALL emotionally. Believe me,a man likes a woman who is honest and not afraid to commit. Ali, is the dumbness girl I have ever see on this show. All Jake wanted was for her to understand that she meant a lot to him. If she had felt the same about Jake she would not have left for her job. I have no comments about the other girls. I was not a fan of Gia...very fake and materialistic. Tenley is sweet but Jake is not just looking for sweet. Good luck to him and Vienna. She makes him feel young again.

Regardless whether or not the show is scripted.. I was sickened by the outcome tonight!! Who in their right mind would choose Vienna over Gia??? Are you kidding? If this is truly reality and not scripted, then Jake has issues.. Vienna wouldn't be hot after a case of beer and a bottle of whiskey while tripping on a twenty strip of acid and smoking 8 gram blunts continuously.. Gia was BY FAR the best of the best on this season and should be the next Bachlorette.... I meet thousands of women each year with my job, and any man who REALLY knows women would agree that Gia is someone that only comes along once in a life time, and when you get that one chance... YOU DON'T LET HER GET AWAY!!!!... If the show is scripted... FIRE THE WRITERS!!! Because they BLEW IT!!! If Jake chooses Vienna and the show isn't scripted.... He should be put in a straight jacket and locked up, because he has lost his mind!!! I would take the psychotic stalker chick over Vienna...(What was her name??) FREAK!!! I'm curious... Does anyone think Vienna is even cute? I just don't see the attraction... Either Jake has lost a ton of brain cells due to lack of oxygen from flying... Or the writers need to go back on strike. I don't really care how it ends now!!!

NOT VIENNA! Say it isn't so Jake! What a swamp rat! Let her stay with daddy. Ali acted like a baby when she decided to leave. Who sits in the floor and cries? I think the idea of "bringing" Ali back was stupid since it just happened last season. Get a new gimmick!
  • February 15, 2010 - 10:25pm Brenda Says:

Hope Ali is NOT the next bachelorette. I am tired of seeing all the rejects become the next person. She "couldn't" get off for this show how can she get off another 5-6 weeks for the next one???
  • February 15, 2010 - 9:31pm Lex Dale Owens Says:

Wake up folks! When are you going to realize this show is NOT reality. Filmed months ago, why would there be cameras in Ali's house when she suddenly decided to call back? And a pilot has to PROCESS his thoughts for thirty minutes? This show is produced by obnoxious twenty something blonde whoe think they are clever! Joke. I am going to watch Smike and Chad on gay Millionaire Matchmaker rerun. It's not scripted at all. Hook 'em. LEX

Hello writers of the bachelor this happen last year. Can you come up with something more creative. I have watched the show since the start of it and I am so upset how the show has went off track. I'm not a freak about tv shows but this is begining to be a bore. if Ali comes after what happen last year I will never watch it again. I know it's just a show but come on guys make a little more believeable.

It's just drama from the network. It was planned. Did you check out how Jake leans over the raling like it was just the worst thing evvvverrrr....and then he's happy and back with his 3 other girls. All of his tears are gone. He didn't care. Ali is a piece of work.
  • February 13, 2010 - 8:33pm Vicky Says:

I think that Ali is jealous of Vienna and she pulled this stunt. Jake didn't fall for it. Now, she tries to come crawling back to him this week. I am disappointed in Ali. I thought that she was a good match for Jake. When Jake makes his choice, he should pick Gia to be his wife.
  • February 13, 2010 - 1:46pm rose Says:

Ali, was a perfect match with jake.I was hoping he would go after her and not let her go. Am hoping he takes her back. If not his lost. Next bachelorett!
  • February 13, 2010 - 1:26pm Michael J Lambie Says:

I tend to think that the producers "encouraged" her to step out. She was the only franchise worthy contestant left who could become a Bachelorette. Would they want to toss away their best candidate by setting her up w/ Jake? I'm just staying, don't be surprised if she shows up as the Bachelorette next season.
