Prostatitis, an affliction of the same organ as prostate cancer, can be greatly reduced by daily intakes (about a soup plate-full) of green pumpkin seeds - sometimes called "pepitas". Also good is a similar daily quantity of grey sunflower seeds. And also a month's dose of a medicine called "Prostar". How do I know? After 40 months of the chronic pain of prostatitis, taking a daily soup plate-full of green pumpkin seeds for 5 months, & occasionally also sunflower seeds, the chronic pain went. I wasn't quite fully recovered, & later I came across Prostar which finally completed the recovery. Personal testimony - the best. Try it Dennis - & hopefully you will recover!

Dennis is terrific. He has my prayers.

Dennis Hopper is an inspiration to us older male folks who needed his conspiratorial-manner of injecting reality into a couple of TV commercials to get us off our butts and back into life "after 64". I hope he can find solace in that, and somehow turn this insidious cancerous invasion into his life away!!! This is one real-life situation we can't blame the democrats for...... and I'll pray to my God that he will help with the healing process, despite the black cloud from the ACLU about praying in public, or in Government places, or in schools.

Uh, Tera? Patrick Swayze died of PANCREATIC cancer, not prostate cancer.

that is very sad to hear....wish him the best!
  • October 30, 2009 - 10:25am Kelly Says:

Patrick Swayze had pancreatic cancer, not prostate. Prostate has a very high survival rate, pancreatic does not. You can live without your prostate, but not your pancreas.

    patrick had pancreatic cancer.
  • October 30, 2009 - 10:10am Carol Says:

Tera~Patrick Swayze had pancreatic cancer. Prostate cancer is highly survivable if it's found in time. Let's keep our fingers crossed and prayers to that end. Best wishes for Dennis' speedy recovery.

I hate to hear that. After Patrick Swayze it seems prostate cancer is one of those types of cancers with a very low survival rate. I hope for the best for him and for support for his family and loved ones.
