  I have always thought that when someone has to make a joke at the expence of someone else, he has his own insecuities. He is not doing nearly as well as he thought he would.   Perhaps Kirstie wouldn't be such a target if she acted civilly and squelched her bad Twitter behavior. If you're feeling sorry for her just because she's heavy, then you need your head examined. She supports dangerous and hateful programs through Scientology, and some critical thinking, instead of the cult of celebrity, would make the world a better place.
