  In regards to Tom Cruise, I've met him working as an optician on several of his film roles, including Mission Impossible, Days of Thunder and many others. I have total respect for Tom Cruise. He is one of the nicest people in the entertainment business. Actors like Tom Cruise are too busy to worry about what their entourage are doing, they must rely on them to behave with integrity and honor doing a professional job for them. I highly doubt he had any idea what his attorney was doing when he hired Anthony Pellicano. That being said, I hope these issues are resolved quickly and quietly and wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season filled with love, peace and joy.   Tom's standard operating procedure is to bully & intimidate anyone who dares speak against him, whether it's with lawsuits (none of which ever go to court) or by spying to gain leverage. After their divorce (once she was able to speak freely), Nicole Kidman revealed that Tom had her cell phone tapped when they were in the middle of negotiating a settlement. And yes, Tom's religion, Scientology, has a lot to do with this behavior. One of their basic tenants, directly from L. Ron Hubbard, is to destroy your enemies by dragging them through the court system until they can no longer afford to fight. Winning is not the point; wearing them down or forcing them to go broke defending themselves is the point. And anyone who would disagree with you or speak against you is classed as an enemy. Tom's all about perception. And he wants to control perception of him. So he puts on an appearance of being a great, smiling, wonderful guy. But behind the scenes, anyone or anything that gets in the way of that is quickly crushed.

  The Sapir guy sounds like a real scumbag. That being said, Tom Cruise doesn't have the right to do what he did. I read the document, it was posted at TMZ, and it appears that this guy got his tip from the FBI when the FBI was investigating the PI. I think TC is screwed.

Nothing new though, Scientology was convicted of the largest case of domestic espionage in the history of the United States. They infiltrated more than 200 government and private offices, and stole documents about themselves and their enemies.
