  Most women in her circumstances would lie down and let the world fall apart around her. SHE IS HOLDING IT TOGETHER!! I am personally proud of her. She is mom and dad to these kids. She will be the respected one when they are older. Children do not forget. They will tell each parent what they think about all of this at some point in their young adult lives. Kate is being the parent, the only parent, these kids seem to have. She is beautiful. I wish she would smile. She would be drop dead gorgeous. Honey, you are doing a really good thing with the kids and being strong. Be proud of yourself and keep it up!! You are a role model for all divorcing parents everywhere. Get some counseling and the children counseling and you will have a great life. Jon will be homeless, broke, and alone. He will be doing things like the kid from saved by the bell, Dustin Diamond, to make money. You are a godsend to the kids. He is a loser. Thank god you let him go. Good for you!! Life goes on.

  I am glad to hear that you people are considering to tone down the publicity in your lives. The nine day wonder is over, give these people a rest. Many wives has gone this way before, those people are in love with each other and nothing can change that. Kate is the stronger party but in every marriage there is always a stronger one. That is what holds a marriage together. If these people are left to themselves they will sort it out. They are too young and the children are too small to be left to one parent, and visitation rights messes up the disipline in childrens lives. Children become wise to the ways that it can be used to the best of their advantage and the use it.You were wonderful together before and that do not go away,ever. Kate forgive your husband, you both made mistakes and neither are blameless. So work it out, this is bad tv, so get off.

  Jon and Kate needs a well earned rest from the media. You people took something that was beautiful and dragged those two people into the mud. Kate you are strong and so is your husband. you are not the first wife that was forced through this, by circumstances beyond your control. The secret is how we lift our lives about it and what we do that counts. Jon, it is time for you to wear some adult size in everything. You were always a good father and a caring and loving father to your wife and family. You were there when the were younger and it was much harder then, you were even working,then. I think the lap of luxury has gotten to your brains. It is now easier with your family, so go home and seek your wife's forgiveness and pick up ypir life now. This is your family's life you are playing with, go home and for goodness get a job so you will once more be respected, go home. God's Speed. prayer heals all wounds.

  The trashy media need to leave her alone. She presents as a devoted mother doing what all parents need to do. Put their children first. She also has the right to look attractive. She presents herself with dignity and behaves with dignity. She is doing the best for her children by not trashing Jon to the media. Keeping personal comments to herself. The nosey people have no need to know all the details of their personal life. The children must hurt when they are exposed to the juvenile behavour of their dad. Kate is a REAL LADY.

  I think Jon is a real dirt bag. He has hurt Kate so bad with his mid life crisis way too early. He folds under the pressure of raising 8 kids that really screams how strong Kate is. She deserves to be happy. YOU GO GIRL Linda in Georgia

  I agree, I respect her. Kate is going through a very rough time and is handling it with dignity, unlike deadbeat Jon. If he were a good dad, he would've looked for a house nearby his children not in NYC. And, why should Kate look like a slob. There's nothing wrong with a little self respect/pride. We are supposed to teach our kids to stand up in the face of adversity and to take care of themselves no matter what. Kate does just that!
