  I too lost a Son , my only Son, he was 20 yrs old and had his whole beautiful life ahead of him. My heart is broken in peices and everyday is a struggle , just over two years and I still find it very hard to cope somedays. Losing a chikld is like no other loss, I lost my Mother and I though that was the hardest thing I'd ever go through..... wrong wrong wrong , this is unbearable , life will never be the same. Whatever it takes to cope with this loss , I have tried many things , we do what we have too! At times and for along time I was very angary with GOD , please don't tell me it was meant to be , or all things happen for a reason and the many more that people think help. My son is gone and now I'll life a life of missing him forever. My heart goes out to you and your Family , there are no words!

  Jett looks the same with John as far as I know if your son is a carbon copy either of them will have a short life so Jett was the one suffered. ITS only my opinion because Ialready crossed one case like that. GOD BLESS YOU JOHN

  Mr. Travolta and family, I am deeply sorry for the lost of your son Jett. We cannot explain the lost of such an attractive young man. I don't have the words to ease your sorrow. I can tell you that your relief from your pain and sorrow will not be found in "Scientology," but in God and his Son Jesus Christ. I lost my mother a year ago, and that it was through God and Jesus Christ, that my pain and sorrow were relieved. To know that through Jesus Christ my mother is in heaven. I hope and pray that God may open your spiritual eyes and that you and your family will see no other person or way but Jesus Christ.

  Please, people - don't keep saying it's Gods will or that God has a plan. That just about drove my mother-in-law crazy when one of her sons died. Also, many, many things happen in this world that God gets a bad rap for that he didn't do. God doesn't make us die, although He sometimes allows that to happen.   No words can make it better. I have never experienced what you and your beautiful family has gone thru. Losing loved ones, but never a child. Hoping I go first as all parents wish. I've adored you since Welcome Back Kotter, now I admire you and your wife for dealing with the public during a tremendous time thats so personal, and keeping your dignity at that. I commend you both. I believe when you love someone so much and the Lord takes that person from you, that your loved one will definitely leave you signs that he is there with you always. From the littlest thing. Your family is amazing! You dont seem to be like all the other famous people, you seem grounded and have faith. Jett is in the sky in the heavens above probably smiling at you right now.   My thoughts and heart go out to you. I have a neice and i a son with seizure disorder. We almost lost my neice to a seizure. Jehovah is with us all. No regilion should ever look at an illness.   I have always love John Travolta and I see how is is a wonderful Dad to his his son. I can see it in his eyes that he loves his family so much. I feel so bad for his lost, I can't imagine loosing a child. 16 yrs is alot of good bonding. I know in my heart he is being well taken care of with GOD and with the loves ones up in Heaven.   We all have those moments in our lives when events teach us what is really important in life. I know John and his family always knew what Jett meant to their family unit and to him personally. But until you lose someone and know that it will be a long time till you see them again, if indeed your personal beliefs are that we will be together with the souls of loved ones who have passed, you cannot fathom the true meaning of loss. As a fan, I have always believed in John's talent and genuineness as a person. I know that in some way, he will find a way to make this tragedy serve others as he learns from it.
