Sorry, but if your only 23, and sleeping with this guy, and slept obviously with others before him, you started messing around pretty early or with one after another, you knew the ropes abit,you stopped doing safe sex, then your pregnancy was no accident.

For those who feel "there is no reason a woman gets pregnant these days unless she wants to be" i highly disagree. Yes, there are many forms of birth control, and yes I do agree that the rate of unexpected pregnancy (if prevented correctly) is much less than the past, the idea that a woman does not get pregnant unless she intends to/wants to is absurd. For example, I practiced safe sex my whole life, and yet currently my boyfriend (now fiance) of 5 years and I are unexpectandly preganant (I am 23). Are you going to tell me that I wanted it? That he is with me only because of the pregnancy? She may be young, but if she is happy, she is happy and they are happy and she is a good mother and that is all that matters. I'd rather see good capable mothers of 21, 22, 23, than horrible parents of 35, 40, 45 that we read in the news anyday. Good for Charlotte taking care of what God blesses her with, intentional or not, because those children will have a better life than many in this world. Congrats and good luck!

8:05- I wasn't born then. Im a product of the 70's and my beliefs don't have to be pinpointed to a decade. Im just a liberal- a single liberal. I have had a few boyfriends, some good some bad, and I may get married. I don;t care either way what people do- but what I didn't like was the assumption that a couple isnt married b/c HE didnt ask. Well maybe he did and she said no- or whatever, there are many possibilities to why a couple wont get married. So are birds flying around my head- maybe, but I will respect what choice someone makes provided they are not breaking any laws.

8:00pm- Thank you for proving my point- using the terms shacking up, mistress (which would only qualify if the man in question has a wife) and baby mama- you called me upset and you just proved why. If becoming a wife makes a person like you- oh dear I will stay exactly as I am!! You see the difference- you use childish name calling and that only makes, what would have been a intelligent comment, only look foolish.

Not being married makes it easier to hop from bed to bed for both sexes.
