Tennis champ Chris Evert wed golf legend Greg Norman in a sunset ceremony in the Bahamas on Saturday, Norman confirmed via his Web site.

Leading up to the vows, the couple, both 53, holed up in a $10,500-a-night room at the One & Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island according to Australian paper the Daily Telegraph.

The pair got engaged in December 2007 while traveling in South Africa.

"We like to be with each other," Norman told Golf magazine. "We enjoy each other's company immensely."

Evert split from her husband of 18 years, pro skier Andy Mill in December 2006. She was previously married to British tennis player John Lloyd.

Norman reached a multimillion-dollar divorce settlement with his wife of 26 years, Laura Andrassy in September 2007.

When Evert appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show in April, she revealed she wasn't worried about getting remarried.

"At our age, over 50 ... It's not like you're 18. Both of us have lived long enough to know," she told Winfrey.
