It's interesting to see readers of US weekly getting so politcal..I guess Chris Noth opened a can of worms! Look, he could've said it more eloquently, but let's face it, his main point is correct: Bush has been really bad for this country.. OK..the worst.

You can blame Hillary or the Democrats if you want, but they haven't been in power for the last 7 years..They only took control of Congress last year! And yes, Congress' approval ratings have been low, but that's due in part to the anger most people feel about the scandals the Republicans have created (Larry Craig, Mark Foley..remember those sleazeballs?). Otherwise people are mad because the Dems in Congress haven't done ENOUGH to stop Bush and his grab for power..Hello!!

I still cannot comprehend what people see in Bush..He's a spoiled, wealthy child of priviege who has "failed upwards" his entire life. His Daddy's buddies have been instrumental in getting him every job he's ever had (including his current one). Why do all you hard working people out there admire this guy? He doesn't CARE about you!! He's a phony blue-blooded snob..He's not even really from Texas! He's a snoody prig born in Connecticut..The whole cowboy thing is an act..Swagger my ass!

I don't care what whack-nut actors say about presidents -- afterall, it WAS an ACTOR who shot and killed Abraham Lincoln -- a REPUBLICAN, by the way. Throughout history, the Republicans have been better to people of race -- it was SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS who fought so stringently against CIVIL RIGHTS! If one TRULY researches the facts, one will find that it is the DEMOCRATS who have taken and abused the Social Security System that FDR (alright, a Democrat, granted) first put into place (for the record, most of his ideas were thoroughly trounced at the time) -- it was supposed to be a TEMPORARY FIX for the country, NOT FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS (thanks, Jimmy Carter), and NOT TAXABLE FOR ELDERLY (thanks, Democrats).
