Flipping through the channels- (I never watch this show)- but I caught a sniplet of O'Reilly talking about this. Apparently, Bale shoved his mother (as to how hard or brutal-no idea or was it a little shove that was taken too far) as a result his mother and sister reported it to the police. The police waited till after the premiere to interview Bale for possibly the following 2 reasons: 1)It was big night in London, didn't want to disrupt that and 2) there was no sign of injury, harm to the mother. It was mentioned that this seems a little iffy- that is was a harmless event that was blown up by his family members. I seriously doubt that the stepson of Gloria Steinam would ever lay his hands on a woman in anger- I believe maybe the mother grabbed him and he had to forcibly remove her. Thats just my opinion- but I think it makes far more sense than what has been speculated.

It is so sad that during Christian glory is family had to bring him down. They had a fight; we have all had fights with our family before; no big deal.They were not in fear for their life or had to go to the hospital, it was a verbal argument. They went to the police the next day to get revenge on Christian, and to pay him back, for what we may never know.Did they threaten to write a book about him; did they ask him for money. I hope they are ashamed of themselves today because instead of making Christian look like the bad guy, he looks like a victim. According to the Daily Telegraph, Jenny - Christian's mother - was a circus dancer. His father was an environmentalist, who divorced Christian's mother in 1991, when Christian was 13.
