Christie was Peter's wife not his girlfriend. When you marry.....Aren't you suppose to be faithful(then why ever get married)to your marriage mate? When someone isn't faithful then why do people blame the faithful mate for the breakdown or delusion of the marriage? I saw a comment earlier.....PEOPLE CHEAT...GET OVER IT! Clearly, you must be a cheater......I dare you tell someone when and how they should get over an affair(physical or emotional). Marriage is suppose to be for life....PERIOD! I know individuals married for 20 some 30.... and at least 10 who have celebrated 50 happy years together. Maybe if you had the blessing to have experienced not just love but true devotion you would understand that people do keep their comments to their mates. Peter isn't the rule but the exception to it. No one should condone any parent or parents who would break up a marriage for an affair and lets not even get into the internet porn thing and when and how he did that. As a parent myself I couldn't imagine my child walking in on his father doing that...and acting as if that's just what adults do...just lock the door honey next time! Please... you can bet your last dollar... that won't be happening in my home! My computer is in the living room next to the tv and I dare my childs father to purchase a labtop, ipod or any other device with the internet attached to it for him to go there. Trust me I don't just check his accounts but his friends too.....and for those who don't think I do.....maybe you never heard of a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR! For those who are so stupid....yes he knows. I have always liked Christie. She always seems really nice and seemed to really put her family first. Yes, she has been divorced 4 times, but the first one failed due to being too young. The last one probably would have lasted forever had Peter not been a sicko! I think she probably was really shocked at the double life he lead. Her staying even though she did not like all his actions with the kids showed that she at least tried to make it work. So before you throw four divorces in her face, I think she is really accountable for two failed marriages. The first, youth, and last stupidity (on Peter's part) could happen to anybody!

NO She has been MARRIED four Times, Her first husband was a French illustrator Jean Francoius Allou,they broke up because they were young, her career really took off and some men have a hard time with their wives I guess being a superstar in the spotlight. Second was Billy Joel.(10 Years) She started seeing him after the race car driver, I forget his name, but he was the heir to the Moet champagne fortune, they were engaged(and he also had cheated during the engagement, but he was killed in a racing accident before they married. Rick Taubman-Hubby #3 was the shortest of all the marriages(lasting about 6 months,he gave up his parental rights of his son Jack which Cook adopted)if should would forgive a million dollar loan she made to him, some Dad huh)The this idiot peter Cook(10 years).It's not like Brinkley hasn't tried. She takes her vows seriously, evidently it's her husbands that don't.Christie can't be "ON" all the time.Yes she's a model, but I am sure she is like us in a lot of ways, she gets tired, look worn out on days, gains weight,asks her husband to take out the garbage, gets sick,is under pressure.
