Christie Brinkley's Ex Peter Cook Regrets Affair With Teen

In an interview with Fox News Sunday, the 49-year-old admits he regrets "not making better a decision three years ago," when starting a relationship with his teenage assistant, Diana Bianchi. If faced with the same choice today, Cook told Geraldo he'd say, "No, I'm a married man. Move on.'" "Of course I am [regretful]," Cook added. "How could I not be?" Cook and Christie Brinkley settled their custody dispute on July 10. "I've got my sweet freedom!" said the model, who retained sole custody of her kids, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10. She will also keep all 18 properties in the Hamptons that were being disputed. (She agreed to pay her ex husband $2.1 million.) See photos of Hollywood's ugliest divorces. "I was fighting for my family," Brinkley told the New York Post. "I think when you're fighting for your family's well-being, almost anything you have to go through is worth it." The four-times-married supermodel also admitted she has no more plans to say "I Do." "I'm not going to marry again," she said. "I know too much about the marriage laws and divorce laws. Oh please. Christie was the victim in this and there's no other way to look at it. What happened in her previous relationships has NOTHING to do with her marriage to Peter. If you've cheated on someone, you think that makes it okay for everyone you're ever in a relationship with to cheat on you? THINK ABOUT IT, your morons! The point is, Christie and Peter were married and he cheated on her and had a $3000 a month porn habit! He broke his vows and it's his fault! No other way around it! And as far as the trial being open, I don't think that's bad at all. Aren't these trials usually open anyway? Not sure about that, but he did all of these things. It's not like anyone lied! If he was so ashamed of having it publicly out there, maybe he shouldn't have done it! I know people make mistakes, so he can be forgiven and all that, but Christie didn't do anything wrong here.

I'm sorry, 18 homes is excessive... it makes sense for investment purposes... but just to have them is a bit too much. I'm honestly sorry for her and what this has done to her family. I think she needs some time alone to do some soul searching and find out what's happening in her life... what kind of men she's attracted to... and what areas she needs to work on. Swearing off marriage isn't really going to fix any problems... it's only a bandaid for what's really going on.
