Peter Cook wishes he never had the affair that broke up his 10 year marriage to supermodel Christie Brinkley.
In an interview with Fox News Sunday, the 49-year-old admits he regrets "not making better a decision three years ago," when starting a relationship with his teenage assistant, Diana Bianchi.
If faced with the same choice today, Cook told Geraldo he'd say, "No, I'm a married man. Move on.'"
"Of course I am [regretful]," Cook added. "How could I not be?"
Cook and Christie Brinkley settled their custody dispute on July 10.
"I've got my sweet freedom!" said the model, who retained sole custody of her kids, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10. She will also keep all 18 properties in the Hamptons that were being disputed. (She agreed to pay her ex husband $2.1 million.)

"I was fighting for my family," Brinkley told the New York Post. "I think when you're fighting for your family's well-being, almost anything you have to go through is worth it."
The four-times-married supermodel also admitted she has no more plans to say "I Do."
"I'm not going to marry again," she said. "I know too much about the marriage laws and divorce laws. Getting married again would not be a very intelligent thing to do."
