Anchorman actress Christina Applegate and actor husband Jonathan Schaech's divorce is final, according to court papers obtained by Usmagazine.com. The couple had been married since October 2001.

Applegate and Schaech's final divorce papers were entered August 10 in Los Angeles Superior Court. Schaech filed for divorce in November 2005, citing irreconcilable differences.

As part of their divorce agreement, Schaech will receive a 2001 Mercedes convertible, the contents of numerous bank accounts, a cement Buddha, and one-time payment of $105,000 from Applegate. He has agreed to forego his right to collect spousal support.

For her part, Applegate, who will next be seen starring in new ABC series Samantha Who?, will keep the couple's houses, her 2006 Lexus, and the contents of numerous bank accounts.

I still don't believe they cheated. And before everyone jumps down my throat...it's only an opinion. BP and JA separated in January and BP and AJ weren't together until March. He may not have been officially divorced, but they were separated and knew it was coming. And I did read an article about JA who admitted that even she did not think he cheated but was hurt that he didn't wait very long. Understandable. I do like the two of them together and think they have brought a lot of issues to the public as well as quite a bit of gossip. i don't claim to know them or how they lead their lives unlike others here. Seeing as how they've been together for 2 years now...I would say they love each other. Christina flat out got caught cheating by her hubby. Didn't deny it ot hide it. That's what rubs me the wrong way. And I'm not interested in having a long debate. i stated my opinion and I'm sure the majority here will not agree, but no big deal.

You know I loved her in Anchorman and the dating movie with Cameron Diaz but have to admit that I was very let down and disappointed when I heard the rumors she was cheating. What is it with celebs nowadays? Can't seem to stay together much less being faithful. Sad really. Hope they both move on to better and brighter things.

Actually it was called "That Thing You do" JUST AN FYI. It stared Liv Tyler and yes he played a jerk of a guy. I LOVE THAT MOVIE! How does anyone know how he behaves in his personal life though????

Where he played a cold blooded selfish person, and sometimes acting is so easy because its close to who the person really is. So if anyone thought this person was indeed talented , think again he was just playing the role of who he really is a "jerk"!
