VIDEO: "Cindy Brady" Vomits During Interview

Radio listeners got an earful last week when actress Susan Olsen — known for her role as Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch — dashed out of a live radio interview because she had to vomit.

Olsen, 46, explained to a local Colorado TV station that she drank too much wine the night before.

"Of course, I threw up in the bathroom!" the no-nonsense Olsen said. “It was better than throwing up on their face!”

Embarrassed?

Nah.

"I’m a very, very, very honest person," Olsen said.

She also turned it into a lesson for her son, who accompanied her to the interview and witnessed the incident.

“That’s the way kids learn,” she said. "'Mom drank too much wine last night, mom had too much.'"

This is not news. BIG Deal! I applaud the fact that she owned up to the fact that she had too much to drink the night before! It's no one's business. Hopefully it embarrased her son enough to see what alcohol can do to people.

cannot believe people are actually thinking this is news worthy... and how about the fact this woman... not cindy brady...is possibly doing the best she can and in fact has a life like the rest of us!! she is no longer cindy brady in fact her son is probably at the age she was when in fact we all enjoyed the show... but who are we to throw stones at her? there is no one out there who can say they have never done anything they would have preferred their children didnt see or hear them do... now come on all get a clue she is human...she has faults...anyone out there that states otherwise is probably drinking and typing...

Firstly. I am baffled as to how the first posts some how felt this (non) story somehow correlates to birth control/abortion debates. What the hell does any possible angle of this story have to do with that issue.
Secondly. Who....no....what(?) sort of person reads this "Story" on An Actual Human, acting Humanly...that they feel compelled to wax eloquent (of course referencing the 'what a pig' writer. What a word smith! Brilliant dissertation....) on how Cindy Brady is, like, this actual person. She's like 40 and everything. 'Turns out she's, like this ACTRESS pretending to be Cindy Brady. She's not four years old anymore...
Additionally.... she is a 40-something real live person(!!!!)....not an android. She has a 40-something body and sometimes she has a hangover.
This particular one happened to be broadcast for all you people to listen to repeatedly, read about, get your underdrawers firmly bunched and then write about. Is is your position that you have never had a hangover in your entire adult life? Or that when she was a child, she represented a fictional character so SHE SHOULD NEVER BE A PERSON EVER AGAIN. 'Cause she's s'uppossed to vanish the earth after turning 10?
I really do want to know.

I saw this and her son clearly has seen this behavior before. He said she was going to drink like a pig that night again. Obviously this woman has alcohol problems. If you knew you had a radio interview the next morning,wouldn't you not go out or just have a couple of drinks? She came off like a an old hag whose son needs a better role model.

on the abortion comment.. it's no better than 1st degree murder.. if you have ever watched an abortion, you would know. And I am sorry but partial birth abortion is the most in-humane thing ever!!! while i do not drink myself anymore.. 16 yrs to be exact.. i do not believe the fuss they are making over this girl getting sick!!

now her son will see the effects of what happens when you drink too much alcohol... and i am sure she will not do it again.. she must feel bad herself!!!

Seriously? So...once you have a child you can never have wine ever again? You MUST be a teenager. Don't get plastered in front of your kids, and don't drink when you're watching them, but to think that ALL IMBIBING OF ALCOHOL must come to a complete and utter halt just because you are a mother or a father...that's naive and ridiculous.

Folks who are criticizing should lighten up. For pete sake, someone actually called her a pig for ONE incident of over-indulgence? This was hardly a "Lindsay Lohan/passed out drunk" moment. She even admitted the oopsie and used it to teach her kid a lesson about the danger of alcohol.
I say give the lady props for being so open about herself. Any other celeb would have lied through her teeth and said some crap about bad shrimp salad or something.
Susan Olsen's honesty and humility as a PERSON, and not a PERSONALITY, is quite refreshing and admirable.

To those of you who keep saying, "she threw up, what's the big deal?" THAT is not the big deal. This woman has spent several decades in the entertainment business. Being professional should come as second nature. It's not like they ambushed her with a radio mic; this was a long scheduled interview. No one stuck a gun in her face the night before and said, "Drink to oblivion!" At this point, the big deal is that this sad woman refuses to be professional, or responsible. She's in as much denial as you guys are.

anyhoo, back to the story. The lady clearly needs to make better choices. If she knew she was going to have to interview in the morning why did she drink too much? Apparently there seems to be more to the story.
