Only those betrayed by their lovers know the awful pain one endures when the truth is finally told. Cheating, lying, betraying, using someone, are awful qualities in any human being. What is interesting to me is that unlike Danes, Jolie has broken up marriages and dated married men before. At least two, prior to Pitt left their wives for her. Yet, Danes is torn to shreds because she chose, along with an un-married Billy Crudup, to start a relationship at probably a very inopportune time.

I can assure you that these actions do not go unpunished. When you least expect it.... you will face the truth of what you did to someone else. It does come back to you, so just give it time. Sometimes, those cheated on are better off at the end, and the pain was just a wake up call to something wonderful.

I have been reading the posts and I think the point is no one but the parties involved know the reasons why they split. It is easy to pass judgement on people for cheating on their spouses/significant others. Is it wrong? Yes. However, as someone who is married (5 1/2 years)and got involved with their spouse when he was married to someone else also expecting a child, I know that these things don't "just" happen. My spouse was unhappy being with someone he should not have married to begin with and made a bigger mistake of having a child with that person. The timing was bad for us to get together but the end result would have been the same no matter what-divorcing the other party. My point-AJ may have just been the catalyst for BP to finally see that he was in a relationship that wasn't meant to be. I like JA as a public figure and I am not insinuating that any of this is her fault. But all of the blame cannot be placed on BP and AJ.

CLAIRE KNEW Mary Louise Parker was 7 months pregnant by BILLY CRUDUP. That's the bottom line. She made a choice to get involved with a man morally bound to another woman with CHILD. What kind of piece of $HIT person does that to another human being? It may not be our place to JUDGE but these people are in the "public eye" which makes it PUBLIC information. Anonymous 4:57: BP has stated in several interviews that "wanting children" was not a factor in his divorce. In any case if you want to end your marriage you should do so before starting a new relationship. The wronged party should not be blamed for their spouses adultery regardless of the reasons.

No one can pass judgement on another unless you are a "Mother Teresa"...everyone has faults of their own..I doubt anyone judging these so called "home-wreckers" are saints- there are those you sin in other ways and just because its not made public does not mean it never happened... having intimate relations with a man before marrige or getting knocked-up by several men...eating like there is no tomorrow... kisunumous, I agree w. PART of your post, in that, a man does not cheat b/c someone MAKES him. When people claim that, it smacks of the whole Eve & Adam giving into temptation & eating the Fruit & Adam blaming the whole thing on her. However, it is inaccurate to state that Claire was "single" when she cheated w. Billy Crudup. She was actually dating Ben Lee, at the time. Which makes me think even less of her, if that is possible.
