Pint-sized contestant Ramiele Malubay couldn't hold back the tears when she was voted off American Idol last night.
After her Tuesday performance of Dolly Parton's "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind," judge Simon Cowell told her it was "forgettable" and "reminiscent of something you would see and hear on a cruise ship."
Last night Malubay, 20, began sobbing uncontrollably as she buried her head in fellow contestant Kristy Lee Cook's chest. (But she composed herself later to perform her farewell song, reaching out to touch fans from the stage.)
Joining Malubay in the bottom three: Country crooner Kristy Lee Cook, who has nearly been voted off each week, and Brooke White, who also burst into tears.

Meanwhile, David Cook addressed recent reports that he was hospitalized for heart palpitations and high blood pressure.
"The whole thing kinda got blown out of proportion," Cook, 25, said. "I have high blood pressure, and it spiked so they took me there as a precaution, but I'm cool. I'm not going anywhere!"

I thought Ramielle did a good job.....she wasnt the top idol material, but she will still go places.....even Dolly Parton said that. I think Kristy Lee should be next, followed by Brooke. My favorite is Michael John. I hope he is in till the "final two" at least. Although I feel that all the young girls will probably vote David A. into the top two, and possibly the #ONE.

Ramiele is a very talented young woman. As in the past the top 10 all end up with record deals, as will Ramiele. She did not make the best song choices but, this does not take away from her talent and marketability. I get a real kick out of the negative comments musical morons make on these sights. Everybody in the top 10 have a future in music. Season five was the first time I watched the show. The same idiots were ripping on Kellie and Kat. Surprie, both doing very good. Its great to have your favorite and want them to win, however, you prove yourself to be a fool when you attach the other singers with mindless insults. Best wishes to Ramiele and the rest of the top 10.

Kristy should have went home. Ramiele deserved to stay over Kristy. I don't know why people keep subjecting my ears to Kristy's bad singing. Ramiele picked the wrong songs, and her personality was a little lackluster. Kristy however, she stinks, and she's always flirting with Simon or something, like she's trying to win him over, but he still thinks she's a boring piece of ugly wall paper. Kristy needs to shave her mustache too.

she was not that good and deserved to be voted off, you can see that when she sings there is no feeling in her pronounciation and presentation of the songs,no stage prescence. Michael sings with a passion. Only those who are really qualified will survive, get onver it and move forward.Better yet, finish school and become a lawyer, accountant or dentist.

She didn't deserve to go home yet. She's very cute and definitely has talent. Kristy should've gone home. She has sacrificed alot of other hopefuls because of her foolish supporters. I hope Ramiele becomes successful in this industry and she made all Filipinos proud.

This is just too insane.. Too much haters just because of her singing..At least the girl made it to final 10..Granting she was not performing and showcasing her voice well, she still have a talent.. I mean she's a tiny little fella but her voice is full..

What is everyones problem with kristy lee cook? Maybe if she did what an earlier paster pointed out and just sing 3 notes,she would sound better? This whole process is really hard on a voice and at least shes still giving it her all. Now, Carly is in a class by herself and her voice is still going strong.Maybe this is where training and experiense and stature pay off-the true amateur is at a clear disadvantage at this point.

As usual the haters have come out. Ramiele may not be the best singer but she is still human and allowed to have her emotions. It was rough for all three of the girls as they are roommates and have probably gotten very close during the course of the show. I felt so bad for her last night and was so proud that she pulled it together to sing one last time on the show.

Do you have problems with Asian populations? It sounds to me, that you're opting out half of the population of this world. Keep the biasness to yourself, fellow American.
