Why was he not at home with his "helpless children" when they were at their most vulnerable, if he was so concerned about Britney's ablilty as a mother, why did he leave them all alone for her to take care of, especially when she herself was recovering from a c-section. It's sad that Britney had to leave her home with her two infants to go look for their good-for-nothing father, to find out once and for all, what the fucc he was doing, and why he was not at home with her and their children. Britney should not have had to go look for K-fed in the first place, the "oh so loving, and concerned father" should have been at home with his children. Whether he is a free loader or not, this is the way it is in a relationship where one party makes the most income. Women get their legal fees paid for, ALWAYS, when the man makes the income. This is no different. Double Standard!

I never thought I would stick up for K-Fed but the guy tried to make his career work in the music business. Everyone has ideas and sometimes they fail. I don't think there is anything wrong with a women supporting their family (times are changing people!) If Britney wasn't being such an idiot as a parent this would have been done and over with a long time ago. To have a custody suit against someone you have to have some evidence that the person isn't as fit or can't offer a stable home environment. Britney has been given far too many chances to prove that she is willing to put her children first. The majority of the court costs are due to her behavior. She doesn't have to pay ALL of his attorney fees, just the ones she was responsible for by her foolish actions. She should pay-- maybe if she has to fork out some cash she will step up and BE A MOM.
