Courtney Love is looking to shed more than just a few pounds. Love, 42, tells Spinner.com that she will hold a Christie's auction to sell her deceased husband/Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's personal effects, claiming that with them around, her house "is like a mausoleum".
Court, who says "a bunch" of the proceeds will go to charity, thinks the decision is a positive one for daughter, Frances Bean, 15. "My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant ... bag full of flannel ... shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to `(Smells Like) Teen Spirit' — that's what my daughter gets."
And who knows, it might change the newly svelte songwriter's romantic outlook as well. "I still wear (Kurt's) pajamas to bed. How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt's pajamas?"

I don't care how much she "tries" to get her act together, she's still a basket case! She's mental! A TOTAL LOONEY! She'll be strung out again within the year! She has no talent has is only famous because of Kurt- no one even knew who she was until his death. She's a media bleep!

I think the title to this story is a bit harsh. There is no doubt in my mind that Courtney truly loves everything about Curt even now 13 years after his death. Kudos to her for moving forward. She is doing a wonderful job in straightening out her life.

Good for Courtney - she really seems to be making an honest effort to clean up and move on. I think it's great as long as she holds on to some momentos for Francis to remember her dad by.
