Michelle Williams Breaks Down Over Video Montage of Heath and Matilda

On February 9, at an intimate memorial for ex fiance Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams lost her composure during a video montage featuring him and their 2-year-old daughter Matilda, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue.
The montage – played during a tribute to the actor in his hometown of Perth, Australia – was accompanied by the Ben Harper song "Happy Ever After in Your Eyes," which Harper penned for Matilda at Ledger's request.
"Just seeing it all there in front of you was humbling," one mourner tells Us of the tribute. "It's just amazing how much he fit into his short life.
Williams, 27, is holding her own despite the pressures of grieving, working, and mothering.
"She is really keeping it together," a friend tells Us. "And she's so great with Matilda."
Though she is "still very heartbroken" over the loss of Ledger, "she is happy to be working," a pal tells Us. "It is a welcome distraction."
On Monday, Williams was in New York City filming scenes for the small-budget drama Mammoth just two blocks from the apartment building where Ledger was found dead three weeks ago, the victim of an accidental overdose.
After Mammoth wraps, Williams will head to Boston next month to start shooting Martin Scorsese's thriller Ashecliffe, costarring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo.

Ledger was amazing, she knew that, but things just don't work but they still stay friends. Hey Michelle? We lift all of you up in our prayers and in our thoughts. The passing of one so dear and precious as Heath, is so painful, and when it is so sudden and tragic, it is even greater. Hold close to one another, and share your love and support, and all the memories that you possess. With time, and love, and working through your grief life will get better. In all of our lifes tragedies there are also great blessings, as the grace we see in Heath's and Michelle's precious daughter as she is the greatest gift from both these parents. With God's grace, together all will find their healing path, letting out their grief and holding close to one another and honoring Heath in doing so.

Again we agree with you that the DEA should investigate teh doctors, and how they were treating Heath.
You are also right about the sleep deprivation. Why did not the doctors send Heath to a pulmonary specialist, and get pulmonary theraphy. I had that done, as I have sleep deprivation a lot, it is part of my illness, and it got so bad that when I would get a wink of sleep and wake up, I would see red, everything was red and for about five minutes, that went on for some time, and I got to my doc, and they said it was a lack of oxidation, yep sleep deprivation, can really mess you up. Well I went for pulmonary theraphy, where they had a therapist work with me with all these breathing tubes and such, teaching me correct breathing techniques, and how to take in oxygen and release it, as what ever goes in our body must go out. As oxygen will help your brain and help with fatigue and exhaution. The red sightings have gone away, which was great.

I am outraged of the abuse of medicating folks for the sake of treating symptoms and not the illness. For me, I have good doctors, they are using what they have to, on the other hand I also am working on alternatives of diet and what I eat to help me. Many people need to be tested for food allergies where a lot of problems lie, as many have found their miracle in finding they were allergic to wheat or barley or such, many kids being put on ritlen (sic) have been found to have food allergies, once off the wrong foods, and that is for life, in days they return to normalcy, and with NO drugs. Also, toxins of sugar, corn syrup, and chemical sugar frauds are also culprits in causing a lot of auto immune diseases and worse. As the brain will protect itself from toxins and such, thus starting the auto immune disaster, by fighting back with it's own chemisty. And antother terrible culprit is alcahol, sad to say, and it does not take much to harm the brain, and more than gray matter, as the frontal lobe of the brain is hit by alcahol and thus the brain fights back. There are many studies with top nerologist and psychiatrist too, that have found these truths. Many depressions and bi polar and other mental illnesses have found help and even cures in getting this stuff out of ones diet. It takes work and discipline, I know, but when you get so sick, you want to get the garbage out of your life, with the help of a good doctor caring for you.

i cant even imagine how she feels and how she is going to have to deal with this the rest of her life. everytime she looks at matilda she will see him. heath wont be there for her first day of school, her graduation, her wedding, or any other events in her life. its saddens me and makes me want to cry when i have to think that matilda will grow up without her loving father. i pray for michelle and heaths family and matilda to be happy and try to enjoy life the best that they can.

To increase the pain relieving qualities and dosage of vicodin a doctor will more often add an antihistimine to concentrate the affect. I know that sounds bizarre, but ask ANY pain doctor. They will tell you. It's a fact. Couple that with the slightest touch of valium and it's see ya later. Unfortunately, valium can do that on it's own. I can't begin to tell you how many reports I have heard of about constant use of valium leading to ER visits for "shortness of breath" which generally means "slowing heartbeat" which will mean the obvious. The sad thing about this is he most likely coupled his slowing heart beat with suffocating. When one is operating on "lack of sleep" he or she should know well enough to take precaution as the body is already struggling for energy which is stressful on the body. When the body is in a stressful position EVERYTHING is out of whack. Think about it. If you were up late one night and the next day you had to be at your top performance. How do you feel when you wake? energized? no...you can't wait til it's over so you can rest. It's reaction..in this case coupled with the prescriptions counteracting themselves, lack of sleep, it's not mind boggling at all. It's not. What is however, is the damn doctor who was dumb enough not to see what the hell they were prescribing. I say DEA take them down!

According to reliable sources, Heath Ledger worried himself to death and died of a broken heart. They say that the Valium, Zanex, and Ambien bonded into a perfect little heart stopper. He was a gifted actor but he was apparently unable to deal with life on life's terms. So let's not trivialize the man and his grieving loved ones by blaming doctors or even pharmaceutical companies. He may not have consciously intended to, but he stopped the pain the only way he could.

i would like to think that in this world of judgment and opinions that we can just let a person live the life intended for them. heath, while i didn't know him, seemed like your everyday guy... the neighbor next door, the personality that drew you in from across the room. i looked forward to his movies because he broke the mold... and i'm sorry he's gone. the world is not right. and even though i didn't know him, i always felt like i did. doesn't everyone say that about actors? rarely is it true.
little matilda, may you grow up in his best memories. your father was a wonderful man and the world is here to remind you of that. may his spirit rest with all of us. we have much to learn and live up to. he was a great addition to humanity... i wish i could have called him my "friend". but he had more than can be counted on one hand and that proves how special he was and how special those were for knowing him. may you grow in his spirit and likeness.

My guess is, they never got over each other. I am quite sure there were lots of issues we have no clue about, and they probably could not deal any more. I am quite sure after being with him for a few years, bearing his child who looks just like him, and only being apart for 5 months, the girl was still loving him, and vice versa. We will never know the whole story. Of course she is mourning! She lost a love, and the father of her child.

This is still shocking to me... He was very talented and alot of people adore him... It just sadden me that his daughter will not be able to remember her father... She will not get the chance to be around him... my heart goes out to michelle and Heath's family.. It's true though.. People need to give them time to grieve... It's painful... Heartborken.... You don't know what really happen.. Michelle might feel regretful that they never gotten married.. and if they did maybe he will be alive..at this time of saddness you never know what goes through her mind and its' better to leave her alone so she have time to accept and try to move on... give her space.....
