Heidi needs to go the way of all the other failed actress' with no self respect or self esteim, yet, determined to be loved for something they're not, and do a real adult film already.

What she isn't mentioning is that it's not *all about what men think- she wanted them, too, because it makes her feel sexier- like MOST WOMEN DO... duh. People seem to forget that, and focus so much on feigning concern over other people's lack of self esteem, when most women actually do it for *themselves, ultimately. The comment about people willing to die is pretty hilarious- it's like saying *you're WILLING TO DIE! OMG! just to go to the store by getting in your car. I'm not necessarily defending her, because I think she IS pretty brainless, but there are so many facets to things like plastic surgery. A single person can have several motivations for it, and ultimately *everyone wants to feel sexy and beautiful. People who get all dramatic about it really have no place judging because they're always looking at it in an overly simplistic way, and it's really not that simple.

it's disturbing to read comments like 'she didn't NEED surgery' - NO-ONE needs it. It is very telling that Heidi says she got implants b/c 'boys were always making fun of [her]flat chest'. She, like way too many women these days, define themselves by men's perceptions of her. Sad, revolting, and certainly responsible for her insistence on accepting and rationalizing to others the abusive, disloyal and disrespectful treatment she receives at the hands of Spencer Pratt. Unfortunately, since she was obviously raised to believe the widely-peddled male conviction that a woman's only worth is measured by her sexual attractiveness to men, she has ignored bettering herself in ACTUAL impt. ways; just listen to her speak! Her grammar, along with her castmates', is ATROCIOUS. Her dress and behavior at work belies the actual ability she demonstrates there. Wake up, women! When did pandering to men ever get you anything but a lack of energy and time to do and succeed in the arenas of life and work that keep men on top. It's sickening. Please stick up for each other the way men do to make it easier to ignore their b.s. and live an actual fun and self-accelerating life for YOU!

I can relate to this. "Revenge surgery" is the perfect way to also describe the implants that I bought myself over 2 yrs ago. Like Heidi, I was disproportionately small and I had been made fun of for being flat from age 12 onward. (I even started a fist fight with some guys stemming from them making "flat" remarks!) Like Heidi, my at-time boyfriend wanted me to spend more time thinking it over, but I wanted to rush into it and finally get boobs. I am very happy with the results so I can relate to how Heidi's feeling. Also, I notice that most girls who are opposed to other girls getting implants are the ones that already have nice natural boobs themselves, which makes them hypocrites. Ugh!

If you are so ashamed of Heidi why do you let her story encompass so much of your time. Try to look to something more real. You have no clue who Heidi is and you will never be fortunate enough for her to give you the chance to know her. I think you all are the ones that need to get a life not Heidi. She has one. Your life is just talking about hers. Why don't you go do something for yourself or the world. Heidi is. And next time drop a little knowledge in your messsage not just rambling off curse words that make you sound "cool".

I think that this was a great magazine....i like Heidi and i think that she looks great...people really do not know her so i think it is so stupid to say "I hate her" after reading a magazine it was called what you dont know about me and spencer made me realize we dont get to see all of their lives...so i am glad Heidi was on the cover she is beautiful.

I'm not against plastic surgery-as long as it's for the right reasons-all of which were NOT listed in Heidi's little article. What a shallow, self esteem-lacking girl. She was pretty before, that's too bad she couldn't even look at herself without crying. For some reason I thought that the way you look doesn't reflect who you are inside-I stand corrected, Heidi looks and is plastic.

PS Does anyone else find it hillarious that Heidi feels like she constantly has to talk up Spencer? Every interview I've heard/read from her she's gushing about this dirt bag, trying to undo the damage he's done to both their reputations. News flash Heidi-no one believes you.

We can't blame US Weekly for Heidi Montag being a moron. True, she's lame, but the only reason she's on the cover of the mag is because she's lame! It's the same reason Britney is on it every week, and the same reason we all pick it up and read it cover to cover.

I feel sorry for Heidi. She's got absolutely no self-esteem and no self-respect for telling her pathetic story about her self-hatred so she can be on the cover. The article just exposes her for what she is. A really sad girl trying to make it big at whatever cost. She was beautiful, now she's just another product of Hollywood distruction. Its too bad, I think Heidi was much prettier before her nose job. I can't believe that she thought that was a big nose, I have seen much worse. As far as her boobs are concerned, whatever, but I really think its a shame because she was so much more real looking before she had her nose job. This season she just looks fake, her hair, her nose, her tan...its sad.
