Britney is over. Don't shed any tears for her as this has been coming for a very long time. The only reason she EVER made it was because she had the Disney Co. making her into a pretty little pop princess that all the boys and girls could admire. Didn't matter how WELL she could sing, they could make it better in the studio. After awhile, she wasn't all that new anymore. Not when you have women like Christina Aguilara who CAN sing better than Brit EVER will. Today's kids want to see a real performance. Not some fake wannabe singer who looks as if she just stepped out of Trailor Town, USA to lipsynch a few songs from waaay back when. She's over and done and I am not sorry AT ALL.

I am sorry if u think I am defending what she did and I am not. I just think if people leave her alone then maybe she would change for the better. And I agree with the person that said that Britney started the rumor. I think she asked to be added to the lineup, and when they told her that she had to sing live because Cyndi only wanted people singing live on her show, then Britney panicked and backed out.

With her latest behavior that would not surprise me at all.

You sound just like your idol making excuses for her bad behavior by blaming everyone else! Don't you think that Britney, an adult, a mother, should take ANY responsibility for her dumb behavior? It is fans like you that are going to enable Britney to self-destroy. If the fans took a hard stance and let Britney know that they will not stand behind her while she skanks her way around town and make a mockery of herself, I am sure she would shape up. ok people if britney cant sing or couldnt ever sing then explain why she made it for the mickey mouse club and star search for that matter. I'm actually quite good at singing. Not that I am bragging, because I am sure there are people who are better than me and I realize that.

Anyways, Britney sucks as a singer. She really is bad. She would always lip-synch for taped events, and I think concerts too. I don't know that for sure, but I am positive that she did lip-synch for some events. Maybe that's why she won't be singing. Maybe she needs to record a few tracks so that she can lip-synch for the show.

I knew there wasn't going to be a Britney apearance in the Cyndi Lauper show. "You can't put a circus performer on an opera stage." Britney's choreographer started that rumor because of the impending Paris Hilton release from jail. Britney desperately needed some attention and ordered the rumor to be started. Pathetic.

Tha's why the night Paris was released she showed up at a club wearing see-through clothing, and later that night she stripped off the clothes in her car and ended up in her underwear...right next to her bodyguard...on the car's front seat...where the paps could get a good shot. SUPER PATHETIC!

Oh, and finally, I was never really a Christina Aguilera fan, but I have to say that the girl has earned my respect by being professional, not becoming a tabloid queen, marrying a nice guy, and just being smart and mature. Now it is believed that she is expecting their first child. Good for her. Britney could learn a lot from her.
