It's not just using looks that enables Danica to drive a car at speeds most of us will ever get close to handling--or try to without the skill it takes to do so. She's an athlete, hence the condition of her bod. All race drivers train as gruelingly as any other athlete. Every race driver has a pit crew, car owner and other coaches communicating which moves might give them an edge toward crossing that finish line first. There have been more than a few teams that have used running on fumes to win a race--some successfully, some not. Ever watch a race when the lead cars poops out on the last lap? Heartbreaking, but sometimes the teams well considered tactics have led to victory. As I recall Michael Jordan did more than a few Hanes underwear commercials. No one accused him of using sex to promote his career. Anyone remember the Joe Namath ad that launched male centerfolds in women's magazines? Danica IS beautiful and fit--she is a talented driver as well.

I agree with others in here. I don't support this woman. She's not a real auto racer. She uses her looks to get her far. Every endorsement I've seen her do, she's always using sex to sell. She dresses like a hoe and does sexy little poses. She uses her looks to get her far. She isn't taken seriously anyways. She's only getting attention because she's a woman that won, but like 4:56 PM says, starting next week there will be more talented drivers and Danica will go back to relying on her looks, like always. I support women doing stuff, but I don't support women like Danica that uses her looks and sexuality to get far in something. This is auto racing, not a beauty pageant.

I completely agree 3:18, who cares about her personal life or her looks or anything else. She is paving the way and being successful at the same time. Go Danica. You deserve it.

Actually, my whole rant is about her being a DRIVER trying to be taken seriously, yet using her LOOKS to get her noteriety....I said nothing about her winning only because she's attractive, have you seen Kyle Petty? I'm merely saying that you see her in a bikini more often than a racing suit, and I think she should be out there promoting the fact that she's a kick a s s driver, and not that she has a rockin' bod! Seems like you might have a chip on your shoulder! Last time I checked, I was allowed to have an opinion....lol

So, Anonymous, you're saying she won the Indy Japan 300 because she's attractive. You realize that these people have their on-track and off-track lives. The fact that she can win races and that she's attractive are mutually exclusive.
