I too have had this surgery(and that was back in the 70's when it wasn't done all the time). I had it 3 times. My eyes have been perfect ever since. My first surgery was at age 3 and my last at 9. I am VERY grateful to my parents for doing it. Good choice Larry.

I'm Dannielynn is doing ok after having eye surgery to correct her lazy eye, which is known as Strabismus, are far sighted! And my praises go to Larry Birkhead for doing a great job of being a good dad to Dannielynn through this difficult time, between Anna Nicole Smith no longer being here & her half-brother also not being here is difficult, but from the pictures we've seen, they seem to be coping really well.

9:34, my niece had this condition as well, and she too had the surgery when she was 2. Maybe your daughter has specifics that are preventing doctors from operating before she turns 4. At any rate, its nice to see that Daniellyn isn't in the camera 24/7.
